Piece of S.....Yes... For years, I have been struggling with Malaysia's biggest S, trying to get my money's worth. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say that I never got a decent speed for my package. There were times when it became so bad that the connection kept going off every 5 minutes! Imagine connecting, turning on your Msn, and when it is finally connected and you see your friend online, even before your friend can reply your message, you are disconnected. That went on for almost a month. I finally couldn't take it and called that blardy S... After reading to me the solutions from a manual (obviously I tried everything before calling them, I am an IT student for Mr. G's sake), I told them that the problem is not my side but over there. A little advice, if you face the same problem and you are certain that it's not your fault, just ask them to reset your port =p
You can go crazy talking to these people =p
You can go crazy talking to these people =pSo, that was what I experienced in the past and I finally got a stable connection (nevermind the speed). Then, recently I decided to upgrade my package from a 512kb to a 1M, hoping there will be some difference. Of course there were a difference, but imagining upgrading from 300 to 400 kbps after upgrading! What's worst was the reply from the customer service guy;
*after explaining my situation for the billionth time,
@$$istant : Sir, let's compare here...
Me : Ok...
@$$istant : I have a client here, with a 1M enterprise package...
Me : Ok...
@$$istant : And his download speed is lower than your, you know?
Me : ...
There was where I blew my top. I told him,
Me : I seriously do not care what other people are having and if your client is contended
with the speed, it's none of my business! Its written in your policy that I should get a
minimum of 70% percent of the package speed which is 700kbps instead I'm getting
400! If i was happy with 400, why would I want to upgrade? I might as well stayed
with my 512 package, since 400 is still below 512, right?
@$$istant : Er, yeah... (that made sense)
If only I could somehow reach that guy through the phone...

If only I could somehow reach that guy through the phone...After making hold for a good 15 minutes, I was calling a 1300 number! He told me that his supervisor told him to file a report (about time they did) and the technician will contact me soon. Later in the evening, a technician called me (I was sleeping and pissed ) and told that he has given me 2M of download speed instead of 1M since it wasn't enough (I was figuring out whether i was dreaming or not) and when I checked my speed, I couldn't believe my eyes!!!
