The epitome of full.

I realized that i have a lot of posts on food, and here is another one =p Last Saturday, I was invited by my kind and generous sister to join for a seafood buffet galore, at my own expense of course. Located in Bangsar, I must say, I was impressed with the place. It so happened that there was a wedding dinner happening at the same building, so we stood in front of the reception, waiting for someone to attend to use, like idiots =p

Anyway, we finally found ourselves a lift and decided to look for the place ourselves, then I was given this brochure. Wow, I was amazed that I could get all that just by paying RM 38. Then there was a catch; some of the items could only be ordered once, such as the shark's fin soup (that looked like starch soup without the shark's fin nor the crab), the crabs (one piece of crab for 6 PEOPLE!) and scallops (7 scallops for the 6 of us, so thoughtful. There was one more extra =p)

The first dish, fried chicken in lemon sauce. looks good, taste ok. (Verdict: 7/10)

We had 3 of this same dish. Not because it was that nice, its just that it looked like the rollercoasters or cheezles snack, so we just kept ordering it =p (Verdict: 5/10)

This was how it came out... Didn't look anything remotely like the picture and it wasn't fresh... (Verdict: 3/10)

Most of the time was spent waiting for the food to come. It's like TD (Tower Defense in World of Warcraft), an average time of 45 minutes for every 'wave' of food to arrive. We had around 4-5 'waves' and a total of 21 dishes (excluding desserts) and it took us around 3 hours to finish everything so after deducting the waiting time, we took less than 5 minutes to finish every dish =p

Kean Ghee wanted to choose something from the menu too while my sis couldn't wait for the food to arrive, so she had a bite of the meat closest to her =p

As we had ample time waiting for the food to come, we started looking around, and to my astonishment, there were a few interesting sea creatures in tanks waiting to be eaten.


This snow crab was huge! As you can see, using my fully calibrated measuring stick, the crab was the mamma's of mamma's. It was so bad that it used the lobsters that were in the same tank as slaves and stepped on them to try to get out of it.

Next on the freak-Dom-out-today was this weird looking thing called the Geoduck:


A GEODUCK! WTF!!! Which part of it looks like a duck? Its huge and looks like a lobak. They should call it Geolobak or Geobak. It just look wrong man... And when i looked closely, it shocked me even more!


Some weird looking thing was coming out of what seems to be it's head. It really looked like some white 5h!t coming out of it's @r$$!!!


For real, what does that look like to you! Not like I have seen things coming out of my neither regions, but I have seen my dog take a poop.


After everyone felt that justice have been done to our wallet, we finally ordered dessert, and it was good! This melon in coconut milk taste great, so we decided to order another round of it =p


This lychees and sea coconut was also great, therefore, we had second helpings too =p No wonder the couple sitting at the table next to us had something like 4 bowls each before leaving =p

And to top it all, the one thing that was there for us right at the beginning, during the feast and at the end of our journey of indulgence was...

Good o' Mr. Chinese Tea! Without it helping speed up the process of food going down our throats, we couldn't have achieved what we had achieved=p

All in all, it was a good experience and I would give it a 7/10 (just because i could eat as much as i wanted) =p

King of all Burgers...

Yes! Ladies and gentleman... I present to you the best non-fast food burger I have ever met! I do regret for no revealing this to you earlier. But after another taste of this mouth watering, heart stopping, hands trembling burger, I knew i had to share the love, spread the good news, let everyone know...

Before i go any further, allow me to educate some of you who still live in the dark ages. A little 'Burger History 101'. The burger was first created long long time ago. Some say that it was first created by Genghis Khan, some said it was created by this businessman. Well, it doesn't really matter.

The burger, as we all know, was originally called the hamburger and usually consists of a cooked patty of ground meat that is fried, steamed, grilled, or broiled and is generally served with various condiments and toppings inside a sliced bun baked specially for this purpose. Hamburgers are often served with french fries, potato chips or onion rings.

Honestly, where can you find a burger that looks like this besides some expensive western restaurant?

Or do you prefer the all time favourite BigMac?

Well, I'm not talking about any of those, my friends. I have found a place that sell burgers that taste as good as the above, if not better. And the most important part is, It's cheaper!!!

Too bad I dont have a nice picture of it that can convince you now, but I can describe it to you =p It has 2 1/2 pieces of patty in it. YES! 2! Take that Ramli Burger! Lots of vege, cheese, eggs and to make it superbly desirable, its drenched in black pepper sauce.

About the price, how much does a standard burger cost in Chillies? RM 16? What about a BigMac? RM 6? Well, this 'King Burger' is only RM 3.50! Yes! For those who watched Super Size Me and are intimidated by it, this is way way healthier (I think). But be careful, it's so good, you might end up like me =p

Puzzle Bubble

Guess what, I have a new found skill!!! I just realized that I'm kind of good in this game called Puzzle Bubble. It a game where coloured balls will be shot out by the dinosours and the aim of the game is to gather all the coloured balls together, because by doing so, they will disappear and ultimately the person who can make all the balls disappear wins.

It is something like tetris, but the only difference is that the ceiling will gradually fall and thus the empty space given to stack your balls are reduced.


I know what you are thinking, " It looks like such a girlish game". I agree, but its just too addictive. It's like spending hours in the toilet playing tetris, refusing to move your arss until you game over or you run out of batteries.

A day in APIIT

As I sit here in the classroom, listening to the lecturer (the boring one) giving his and our first lecture of the day, I suddenly felt the urge to blog something. Or maybe his class is just THAT boring =p

Yesterday, I was invited to one of my dear friend's house for a wine and cheese session. Well, this is the first time I actually sat down to have this kind of session and honestly, I think I might actually like this type of social life!

This weekend has been an all-fun-no-health weekend. Firstly, on Saturday, My sis, KG, Sha, Harjit and I went to BB to have a shisha session and it was great! Mind you, it wasn't the shisha that made everyone 'happy', but it did help =p For those who doesn't know what shisha is, its a water pipe that people use to smoke fruity flavoured tobacco leaves.

Last weekend was also ghost story telling as we started to tell ghost stories that lasted for hours... Let's just say I'm kind of happy that I'm not staying at my sis' campus =p

Back to the wine session with my good friend yesterday, I realized that red wine, cheese and bread make a very good combination. Sure enough, after a few glasses, ghost stories came out again and I had loads to tell from my session the night before.

All in all, it was one of the best weekend I had in a long long time...

Plans for the future...

We are going to REDANG!!! Again!!! Well, we are planning to go to Redang this May and after tons of problems, I finally manage to push all my responsibilities for 3 days and go peacefully...

But there's a problem... A girl friend of mine can't go because she is the only girl in the group. So began the frantic search to look for another girl who is willing to join our group. So, if you're a girl and you're willing to make new friends, come join us! =p

The last time... See the tan we had? =p

Well, I hope this time it's as great as the last time if not better!!! (I didn't wanna go home)...

*Update* To make things clearer, the reason we need another girl to come along is because that was my friend's (the girl) parents' condition for allowing her to come along =p

The Start of The New Sem

Well, the new semester has actually started for almost a month now and things are going on smoothly as usual and things will also eventually turn into a nightmare. With 6 subjects this semester, i have classes everyday varying from 8.45 am till 6.00 pm. Sigh... Well, its my last sem this year, so i better do well =p

A quick explanation of my subjects this sem:
1) C programming: I only know English, Bm, Cantonese and a pinch of Mandarin, and now i need to
learn another language =p

2) Algorithm: Its all logic baby! How to give the computer a set of rules to follow and do what you
want it to do =p

3) Marketing: This subject is interesting. Was never really interested in this business stuff, but
the lecturer was is a good talker and you learn how to manipulate people!


4) Internet Application: How to create websites. Quite easy once you get the hang of it =p

5) Multimedia: Now, this is an interesting subject. You learn how to make animations and go
into details of multimedia. (PIXAR, here i come!)

6) The last but not least is Moral Studies! I know what you are thinking, "You already learned it
in secondary school, why learn again?") Well, i came to know that its totally different from
what I have learned. It might bear the same name, but in Moral Studies, we learn how to
debate on the hottest debatable subjects there are. So I guess it's cool =p

All in all, this semester will take all my waking time and sleeping too (I dream about my subjects =p), but some time must be allocated for my loved ones =p

The Start of Something New (Well, not really)

Greetings, friends and family and people who accidentally entered this blog. This is actually my second blog but since my first one was barely active, I think I'll have a fresh start here...
